The 6th Annual Gastric and Soft Tissue Neoplasms Symposium

This annual symposium will update participants on the advances in and state-of-the-art care of gastric tumors, including neuroendocrine, and soft tissue sarcomas (extremity and retroperitoneal), focusing on imaging, surgical management, and systemic therapy for NET. The importance of a multidisciplinary approach to patients with these rare tumors will be highlighted. Nationally and internationally renowned speakers from MedStar Health Cancer Network, MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, and Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center will discuss the roles of evolving new diagnostic modalities, biopsy techniques, immune and molecular targeted therapies, organ-sparing surgery, and the use of state-of-the art radiotherapeutics. Time for case presentations with Q & A will be allocated in the afternoon.
