Liver Cancer: Advances in Science and Clinical Management

This Mount Sinai Liver Cancer Program’s conference, now in it’s 14th year, will assemble multidisciplinary experts in liver fibrosis, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) from the Mount Sinai Liver Cancer Program and two outstanding invited lecturers, who will provide a state-of-the-art summary of the advancements reported in 2019 on pathogenesis, liquid biopsy, clinical management (chemoembolization and radioembolization, molecular targeted therapies, SBRT, neo-adjuvant immunotherapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors) and surgical treatment of liver cancer, including the research conducted at Mount Sinai. Disparities in liver cancer in the US will be highlighted. Multi-institutional results of liver transplantation for HCC in the US will be presented.
