The Gastrointestinal Tract XX Conference: Making and Breaking the Gut
August 6, 2022 - August 12, 2022
Steamboat Springs, CO – Launched in 1985, this FASEB Science Research Conference (SRC) is focused on the fundamental biology of the gastrointestinal tract and its relationship to gut health and diseases.
The conference brings together academic, clinical, and industry researchers at all career levels to exchange the most current information related to GI biology. It provides a strong overview of cutting-edge GI research and serves as a critical venue for trainees and early career investigators to showcase their work and interact with senior faculty and mentors.

Keynote Lecture
Tracy Grikscheit, MD,University of Southern California
The conference covers eight sessions with 28 invited speakers, more than 20 abstract-selected short talks from trainees and early career investigators, two poster sessions, and two rapid-fire “ePoster” sessions to maximize the number of investigators who will present their work. Additionally, several “Meet the Expert” sessions will introduce young researchers to established investigators who can contribute to their mentoring and career development, driving new collaborations and promoting synergy in the field.
